The Cause by Jane Man
£5.00
A gripping tale that tries sympathetically to understand the motivation of those who want to bring an end to vivisection.
Description
This is an excellent book. It is a fast moving thriller which keeps us focussed on the action. At the same time it is a thought provoking exploration of the way we treat other species and a young woman’s journey into greater understanding. It deals with a very contemporary issue with insight in an interesting way.
Everyone, whether already concerned or not about about man’s use of animals for experimentation should read this book.
Jane Mann is deeply worried and her conviction is compelling.
In this narrative the pace is fast as the author unites varied, vividly portrayed, disparate but real people in working for the cause. Suspense is maintained to the end while pain, as it appears on several levels, becomes a main character.
